MASF Welcome - Purdue Fort Wayne Athletics

What a great time to be a Mastodon! Our student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom by achieving an impressive nine straight years of a cumulative 3.0 grade point average. Our teams continue to compete well in the Summit League with men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis, and softball qualifying for championship play. The success our programs have enjoyed this past year would not be possible without the financial support of our fans through the Mastodon Athletic Scholarship Fund (MASF).

As the IPFW Department of Intercollegiate Athletics continues to grow its commitment to our student-athletes, coaches, and programs, we hope you will consider strengthening your commitment to the MASF by renewing, upgrading, or making your first gift for 2012.

As you know, athletic scholarships granted by IPFW are not “free” to the athletics department. In fact, athletic scholarships represent $1.8 million of the overall athletic department’s annual budget. Last year, gifts to the MASF totaled more than $110,000 and this year’s goal is to surpass $150,000. For this goal to become reality, we need your help. Your gift makes a direct impact on the lives of Mastodon student-athletes and may make you eligible for seating and parking benefits at men’s

basketball and volleyball games.

With all the momentum we’ve seen in our student-athletes, there’s never been a better time to join the stampede.
